Some of my most favorite lots each year have been the ones that are hand-crafted. Maybe it's because I've done a fair share of crafting and know how time consuming these projects can be. They never are just a sum of their parts - whether they be made of fabric or paper or some other medium. There's always that something more - that piece of the creator that becomes a part of the finished work.

Today I want to share with you one of those specially crafted lots. Melissa, also known as disneydreamer98 on the DisneyWorldTrivia.com boards and elsewhere, has donated this beautiful set of 35 hand-made all-occasion cards in a custom decorated tin. Melissa's a mom of 2 active boys, a frequent contributer to several Disney forums, avid scrapbooker, and a generally busy woman. How she found the time to make a card for the auction - let alone 35 of them - I will never know. But we are grateful she did, and I think somebody will be very lucky to go home with this lot at the Auction!
