Ceremonies and receptions may be held at the beautiful Victorian
Wedding Pavilion, located near the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, or
can be "themed" and held in any of the theme parks. Some of the
incredible choices include the The Living Seas Lounge at Epcot®, the
Rose Garden in the United Kingdom, Disney's BoardWalk Resort, or even a
Cinderella fantasy in the Magic Kingdom. No matter the location,
there's something magical about having your wedding at Walt Disney
World!

Originally, though, Disney frowned on weddings at the parks, and
actually did not allow the practice. Guests dressing in wedding attire
were not allowed admission to the park. Desperate lovers would
sometimes enter the park with their tuxedo and dress hidden underneath
their clothes! The couple and person who would perform the ceremony
would often casually walk up to Cinderella Castle, quickly remove their
disguises, and exchange their vows.
