Mickey's Toontown Fair opened as Mickey's Birthdayland on June 18, 1988 to celebrate Mickey Mouse's 60th birthday. It later was renamed and rethemed to "Mickey's Starland" on May 26, 1990, and received its current name of Mickey's Toontown Fair in 1996.
