- As you pass through the gates of Disney's Animal Kingdom, you encounter the Oasis - a lush tropical garden filled with exotic birds, animals and plants. Although there are no attractions in this land, guests can take their time and meander through the criss-crossing pathways and look for iguana, turtles, birds, and more wildlife. The Oasis is linked to only one other land - Discovery Island. From here, guests can reach every other part of Disney's Animal Kingdom
- The Oasis was originally going to be called "Genesis Gardens", but the religious connotation was thought to be too strong
