The holiday season has descended upon Walt Disney World, and many of the special Christmas celebrations have already begun.
If a December Orlando vacation is in your plans, this is a great time of year to be here. Every holiday trip to Walt Disney World is filled with parades, spectacular lights, awesome shows and delicious dining opportunities. But squeezed in between those holiday specials, you still want to experience all of the Walt Disney World theme parks. In 2007, Disney has added some fabulous new shows and attractions, and we want to make sure you don’t miss them by letting you in on the latest scoop about what’s new around the World. At the Magic Kingdom, the newest addition is Monster’s, Inc. Laugh Floor in Tomorrowland. Based upon the Disney-Pixar’s hilarious film, this comedy show takes guest participation to a whole new level (it is Tomorrowland after all). Before the show, guests waiting in line can text their favorite joke and it might be selected by The Monsters for use in the show! After you’ve laughed your behind off with Mike Wazowski and his Monster friends, make sure you catch a “doombuggy” to check out the updates and changes in The Haunted Mansion. They still have those hitchhiking ghosts, though, so watch what follows you off the ride. Epcot hasn’t slacked off this year either with the opening of The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Nemo and his salt water friends have moved into the giant aquarium formerly known as The Living Seas. Now guests cruise under the sea in their very own “clamobile” and can even participate in an interactive chat in “Turtle Talk with Crush.” Nemo took a dive into the party at Animal Kingdom too, with the new live show Finding Nemo – The Musical. Real actors and super-sized puppets share the stage at the newly enclosed Theater in the Wild to perform a delightful musical inspired by Disney-Pixar’s “Finding Nemo.” Your holiday Orlando vacation will no doubt be filled with tons of fun and great surprises.
