I've been hearing that Disney Studio Cast Members have been told that the MGM will be dropped from the name in place of Pixar in October 2007. With all the new Pixar attractions coming soon such as Midway Mania (Toy Story characters), Cars appearing in LMAX, Block Party Bash, and Honey I Shrunk The Kids Playset being rethemed to a bug's life, it's no wonder that they are changing the name to Disney-Pixar Studios.

To me this is a great idea. I've been pulling for this for awhile now. Some people have argued that Pixar can also be found in MK, Epcot and AK so renaming it Disney-Pixar Studios doesn't make much sense. My defense... can you find Disney characters in the other parks? Then why keep Disney in the Disney-MGM Studios name. Disney-Pixar Studios sounds good to me, it'll just take some getting used to.
