Welcome to the Previews for the 2008 Dream Team Project Charity Silent Auction at MagicMeets!

Here I will be posting descriptions and photos of the items available for bidding on if you are attending MagicMeets.

The Dream Team Project raises money to send seriously ill children to Walt Disney World through Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America. Last year we raised $9000. This year we hope to do even better!

There are 111 lots altogether. I will be posting them in groups of 5, and will try to get as many of them up per day as I can. I will lock this thread between my posts, so that it is only for the previews of the items. But I’d love to hear your thoughts, questions and comments on the lots in the “Auction Chatter” thread!

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept bids from people not in attendance. But you can still help out! The Dream Team Project can accept donations that go directly to Make-A-Wish through Firstgiving.com/dwtdreamteam. And here’s the fun part: If you make a donation between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19th, you can hear your name announced on the WDW Today Live Podcast from MagicMeets! And all donations made during that time will be counted towards the total amount raised at the auction that day! It’s easy and secure to make a donation through Firstgiving.com/dwtdreamteam - they take all major credit/debit cards. Make sure to include “DWT” or your community affiliation in the comment section of the donation so we can thank you.

Some photos are still forthcoming, so please check back frequently! Also, suggested starting bids may change, they are included here to give a rough idea of what to expect.
