So, if I understand correctly, if it is under $4, I can use a snack credit to purchase it? All these things sound so delicious and my husband is worried that the BDP won't feed our family. Hearty, filling snacks are the key. Not a bag of chips.
Thanks, Jenn |

*Most* items that cost under $4 can be purchased with a snack credit. This is not an absolute rule. It's not "That costs under $4, therefore I can purchase it." It's, "Most of the items that are $4 or less are valid snack options." The valid snack options are decided on an individual basis. There is a constantly-being-updated thread over on Disboards that maintains the list of confirmed snack options for 2008. You can find it here: 2008 Confirmed Snacks included in the Dining Plan - The DIS Discussion Forums - DISboards.com When you get to the parks, you'll see a purple-and-white DDP sticker or emblem on the menu next to each item that is a valid option. If it doesn't have a sticker, it's not a valid snack option, regardless of the price. There are exceptions in the other direction too - ISTR someone reporting during the Food and Wine Festival last year that the $7 lobster rolls at the America booth were valid snack options. Hope this helps!

I can't begin to tell you the number of places I have posted looking for an answer to this question. The link did it. Are the refillable drink cups worth purchasing? We aren't big soda drinkers, we do like lemonade and I thought as a family it was something we could share. I know this is something we have to buy. What are your thoughts?

The refillable mug is a good deal if and only if you plan on eating 4 or 5 meals in your resort's food court. If you're the type of family who's going to race out of your rooms after showering and get on the busses, only to come back after you've had all three meals at the parks, then the refillable mugs aren't for you. If, however, you'll be eating breakfast every day, or you plan on coming back in the afternoon for lunch and a dip in the pool, definitely get them. Every beverage at the beverage station is allowed to be in the refillable mugs - including juice, soda, lemonade, iced tea, coffee, and (at Pop Century at least), slushies.

snacks
I love the cannolis at Pinnochio's Village Haus! I am not 100% certain if you can use your snack on them, but they are yummy. I always get the refillable mugs even though I only fill them on my way to the park and then on my way back to the room at night I figure I would pay more than the mug cost on buying the same amount of drinks.
