I think Giselle should at least be a face character like all the other Princesses in the parks. There's a lot of material there for a CM portraying her to have a lot fun with guests. I think she'd be received pretty well.
How did the film Enchanted do anyhow? |

If you are creating a post with a poll, your post will post while you are creating the poll portion. So, I must have replied while you were still creating the corresponding poll. Another reason I think Giselle will be around for a bit is...let's face it she's a "Princess" character created by Disney. They generally seem to do well. Plus, she can be tacked onto to the whole "Princess Tour de Force" marketing and merchandise scheme and then profits ensues. And you know that means, if it sells they will create more ways for it to sell. And, her film was a refreshing look at the whole fairy tale genre IMHO. Disney has not forgotten how to do a Princess character/film. |

I'm trying to write this spoiler free.
Though if you really think about it...Giselle isn't really a princess. She was just a girl. Only the girl that would marry Prince Edward would be come a princess. So who every he married, whether Giselle or someone else, should be labeled the princess of the film. Though I guess in Disney's world if Mulan can be called a princess then anyone can.

I saw that movie at home for the first time last night. Wife told me Maleficient was on there (Susan Sarandon) .Movie was okay...Giselle, well....well..she acted like a Princess..don't know how she pulled that off without dying laughing. And Edward...boy thats hard to believe that Cyclops from X-men. Wish Susan Sarandon did more.
Giselle should be around for awhile but I don't think it'll be in the league with Ariel. |

Dangit, now I'm gonna have to go watch the DVD again. I could have sworn the little girl and Giselle talked about how Giselle really was a princess, regardless of her upcoming marriage to a prince....

I watched it last night, so it's still fresh. The little girl asks her if she is a real princess and Giselle answers "not yet, but I will be". So she does have to marry the prince to become a real princess.
