AFI's 100 Years, 100 Songs
The American Film Institute released their top 100 movie songs last night. They had to be in a movie (clearly) and have lyrics. The number one song was "Over the Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz. But, the reason I post this here is because Disney had 6 songs make the list.
99. "Hakuna Matata" from The Lion King 62. "Beauty and the Beast" from Beauty and the Beast 47. "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" from Song of the South 36. "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from Mary Poppins 19. "Some day my Prince Will Come" from Snow White and last...but not least. 7. "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinnochio The Entire list can be found here
