Scrapbookers, what do you think about this?

What do you think about:

Taking generic Disney pictures, voting on which ones to use and we all make our own page from these pictures. Then we could see all the different styles we have....

OR

Using the same paper, embellishments, ribbon, etc with our own pictures and see how we each use them in our own unique way. I might even be willing to make a kit, with April's help of course, and send it out to those of you who want to play along. This would challenge you to use supplies that you might not have thought to use and it would be a suprise when it showed up on your doorstep.

So whadda ya think?????

I like the same paper one. Kinda like the scrapbooking class I started going to last month. Free class, she supplies the materials for a fee(like 5 bucks and I got 5 pages out of it). Since everyone was working in 12x12 and mine was smaller it was similar and way different at the same time. I got loads of compliments on it from the others there. She had to LO to go by but I still kinda did my own thing. AHHH! The beauty of art, it is in the eye of the beholder. I like the kit idea as long as it doesnt exceed my 5$ a month limit much. Or should I say the limit that has been imposed on me by the man who pays the bills. LOL

I like the idea better with the products. It is really hard to scrap someone else's photos.

I'd be interested in trying this out with a kit too. Someday I'll get to scrapping. Hubby's running for office and the primary is next week. We've been preoccupied with campaign activities.

I have bought kits before, but not used the items to make the specific designed page. I think this would present an interesting challenge to those into Disney scrapping looking for something new to try!

I like this idea myself. I think that you get a better idea of the individual when you use the same pictures.

* That is only my opinion...

To clarify: What it would be is everyone gets the same supplies, like some paper and ribbon, and we all have to make a page of any theme using only those supplies.

So the point is to see how differently we use the same supplies. It would not be a kit with direction on what to make. This way you can use your own photos to get ahead on your pages.

I have seen this done in a scrapping magazine where three people got the same papers, supplies AND photos and came up with three amazingly different layouts. I think it would be great fun. You know mine will be a page with a title and boxes for the photos. So nobody copy me, okay?
