Question for anyone who knows

I was wondering what is the deal with the rub on things? I don't get it. Wouldn't stickers work the same? Can the rub on be use over again? What if you accidently move your hands, does it smear and how do you fix it? I see them at my LSS store but I just don't get it. If anyone has ever used them could you enlighten me? I just don't get it.

Wish I could help, but have no idea what you are referring to. Can you give more details?

?????? Are you talking about temporary tattoos???? if so they can only be used once and last a few days depending on skin type(sometimes longer) They either wear off on their own or you can remove them with baby or cooking oil. Please enlighten us further with what you are asking about and I am sure someone will be able to give you an exact answer. I personally (and for the fact it is 8am) dont know what LSS is either.

LSS

Local Scrapbook store.

They normally don't smear. You can just hold them down or tape them down if you have the kind of tape that removes easily without tearing the paper. I've never had any trouble with them moving, but I really don't use them that often. They are like stickers in the sense that once you use it it is used. One time use only.

I am glad I am not the only one who doesn't use them. I just thought I would ask the general opinion. I don't see them as being very popluar and I would bet they won't be around very long. I just think stickers would serve the same purpose. Thanks for the help.

The plus with rub-ons is that you don't have to worry about spacing. You can place it on the paper and "see" exactly where it it placed and it doesn't stick until you rub it. A sticker on the other hand is pretty much stuck when you touch it to the paper.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rubons!

They are one time use items, similar to stickers, but you don't have to worry about halos. Plus they have a really nice look to them. And most of them can be used on photos.

I also like rubons as they are cleaner than stamping and nicer than stickers. If you look at a few of the cards Stitch and I made in CSC #1 and #2 you will see rubons used. Dream, Happy Birthday, and I you! The only thing I like better is using my Cricut for words!
