No lights to scrap!

Hey girls!!! I'm just writing to say that I won't be scrapping for awhile. I live in Buffalo, NY and have been without heat and electricity since friday at 530am. you can read my whole story under the pixie dust forum. So keep up the good work and i look forward to seeing yur pages when i can (luckily my in laws have power to check my disney boards!!!). ttyl karen

And we were whining because we got flurries.

we got about 8 inches, though most of it is almost melted. i will post some neat pictures when i get my electric back. the problem wasnt the snow on the ground, it was the snow in the trees!!!! it brought down ALOT of trees in WNY and thats what brought down the power lines (mine included).

I always want snow but NOT that much. I heard it melted too fast and caused flooding. Nenny, hope you won't really have to wait until Sunday for power. Let's crack the

if it didnt melt so fast i would send you some! maybe in december! lol
its funny yu said that about getting the guys to fix it faster... my dad works for the power authority up here (national grid) and hes been working 17 hour shifts since friday nite and his own daugthers power isnt fixed yet! they are working in blocks of neighborhoods each day but the neighborhoods around me are just so badly damaged.

Well its Tuesday nite at 1130 and i am back in my house!!!!! The power has been restored!!! i am a MUCH happier person. i want to thank any National Grid person, or any member of a power authority who worked in WNY. i love you all!!!

** funny note, due to this storm my parents are upgrading their hotel from the all stars to the carribean beach resort when they go in 2 weeks. my dad is working this storm (he works for National Grid), working 17 hours a day... OVERTIME.... and cant wait to take advantage of his upgrade! LOL**
