you know what would be the ULTIMATE thrill for a disney fan? If the Disney Company held a contest and the winner got to stay in the apartment over the Firestation on Main Street. The contest could be something like why do you feel that you are the ultimate Disney fan.

The apartment was Designed by Set decorator Emile Kuri...Who also used the red in Club 33 as well as the living area of the Nautilus in 20,000 Leagues under the sea.

For you super Disney geeks. The color is Cognac number 5.

Unfortunately, they already have. In fact the ebay auction went off at 9000.00 and was won by some staff members of UAB. It was for 12 people to have a tour of the apartment and have breakfast.

The apartment itself is a very cozy place. I used to spend wahtever time I could up there (which was only on a handful of ocassions) while I was working there. The rug you see in that picture was not original. It had just been replaced due to wear and tear.

the apartment is used to entertain VIP guests from time to time. Unfortunately not everyone tends to appreciate it as much as we do. Especially when kids are present.
