what else should i do

I thought POTC was not opening until July 7.

The re-open date jumps around a lot. First it was June 28, then the 26th, then July 7 (the national release of the movie). One of my best friends is a new CM and she said it re-opens on the 26th- 2 days after the red carpet world premiere at Disneyland.

It's supposed to open up the day the movie premieres which at this point, is July 7th

We should have a meet in the park July 18-... that is when I am coming home to SoCal and would love to meet up with some folks, maybe hit the new Monsters Inc. ride!

Disney World's POTC opening is on July 7th. Disneyland's POTC is opening earlier. :-)

The new Monsters Inc ride is amusing, definitely ride the Matterhorn!

oh i have done my share of Matterhorn rides! I love DL there is just somthing about the park... its, for lack of a better word, magical

If you had time.. try to book a tour of the park.

It really gives you an idea of the magic around you.
Also... dont forget about that Disney Mountain Range

For other thrills.. try Tower of Terror of at DCA and the California Screemin'
For amusement... see It's Tough to be a Bug and Muppets 3-D
DCA also has a nice nighttime parade... check it out
