I was looking at pictures from the family fun run marathon weekend from this year because I think it's the same course. It didn't look like anything was on dirt. If it was I think they would have to call it a cross country race.

I saw the medal. Not how I thought it was going to look but it's cool.

I quite like the medal - it's definitely different from any other medal I've had from a race! I'm even more excited about it - just intrigued as to where the course will actually go (other than looking at it on the map).

We will be meeting in DAK
On Saturday September 27th
at
12:30 PM
at the
Flame Tree Barbeque
Upper Level (Owl and Spider pavilions) - to the left of the counter area.
Eat

, meet

and greet!

We are planning on an early meet to take into account the time that the race organizers need the racers ready to set up, giving them enough time to prepare. Thank you for understanding.

That works out perfectly - we were planning on lunching at Flame Tree BBQ anyway. I wanted Yak & Yeti but figured I'd make a pig of myself so I rescheduled that visit for later in the trip.

Is anyone working on shirts for the event? And are those that are doing it going to meet up in the starting line and at least start together?

Anyone cheering don't forget to make your DWT/WDWRadio signs to hold up for us.

Yes Shirts are in the works.... I will post as soon as they are ready.

Not sure if Disney will be separating this race by qualifying times or if it will be a free for all corral.

I know for the Minnie 5k and 15k they just had signs with your time on them. So if you thought you were doing a 10-13 min. mile that's where you started lining up. Pretty much people just lined up wherever they wanted.

The EE Challenge is now at 95% full. So if you are thinking about doing it you better sign up for it now.

I am brand new to the boards, but just registered today after I heard Lou's announcement of the EEC Meet.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

My name is Trish, and I will be running with my friend Andrea. Our Team is the Happy Mommies and we are staying at the Poly.

And we are definitely in for the Meet. I can't wait...as Lou said, this is going to be "THE" weekend to be at WDW!

Oh no! I think that's the date and approx. time I'm scheduled to see the new Tinkerbell flick. If not...I'll be there.
