Are you talking about directly after the race or after the "After party"? I'm really hoping the after party will be more than just a couple of rides running. I'm hoping there is some entertainment or food/drink place open where we can all party together.

If you don't think this is the case then I can understand why some would be making plans to go somewhere else right after the race. (Is that what is happening?)

Maybe we need to add a column to our "who's coming" list - whether you have after-party tickets or not? That might help when we figure out where and when to meet.

I have a party ticket.

We all love to party!

I'll have to see what Ann wants to do - If we just Meet n' Greet after the race or go to the party too!

EXCLUSIVE AFTER-HOURS PARTY

Saturday, September 27, 2008
10:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Disney's Animal KingdomŪ Park
You must have a ticket to enter the park. Additional party tickets may be purchased for spectators.
You can buy additional party tickets for your friends and family, limited to 2 party tickets per purchase. Everyone will need a party ticket to enter Disney's Animal KingdomŪ Theme Park from 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. Admission to the party will require a separate ticket. Annual passes will not provide admission to the party. The party is subject to capacity limits so there are a limited number of party tickets available.

Additional Party Tickets:
  • Adults (Age 10 and up): $25.00
  • Children (Ages 3 - 9): $15.00
  • Children Under 3 - Ticket not required

If the party starts at 10pm and is only for 2 hours, it doesn't give you long to enjoy the park?!

What is everbody else planning on doing?....

Kevin-

Are you stretching your abs before you run? I usually do a few sit ups and then stretch my abs after that. I don't seem to get the pain then. Sometimes I do I think I just didn't stretch them enough.

Lay on the floor and stretch your feet and arms out like they are being pulled in a medievil stretcher.

I have tried everything less than chopping my body in half! You would think that I would be a big huge person but in reality I am as thin as a toothpick. Appreciate the tip though Lori!

I've been looking at the course map too. This will be my very first organized race so I'm a bit nervous. That long loop just after EE - is that paved or are we going to be running on some sort of dirt or gravel path? I don't remember seeing any route at AK that goes out that way and am stressing out over it.

I saw that bit too and wondered where on earth we would be going! It might be a bit of a dirt path, but it won't be anything unsafe, that's for certain. Disney wouldn't do that - not without any warning! Unless it's part of the scavenger hunt...
