Abbreviations and such Guide...?

Is there a guide anwhere to find out what all these different abbreviations and stuch mean?

the basic ones I get...

WDW, HM, AK, AKL, FW, etc....

but there are some that I don't quite get and feel reeeeallly dumb if I see one I don't know... and don't wanna ask because then I'll look dumb too.

So... is there any sort of guide around here? or could anyone be so kind as to make one.... for the clueless and the newbies...?

A Couple of Notes

GOH or GoH - Guest of Honor, parodying and imitating WDW's practice this year of honoring which year park visitors visited WDW for the first time. Some people added this information, speaking about themselves, in their signatures at the bottoms of posts. It simply means the year the person writing the posting to the newsgroup visited WDW for the first time.

Emoticons - Emoticons: Punctuation signs that are arranged within text in such a way as to display the simulation of a face when viewed by turning your head to one side. Inserted into text to relay a facial expression or emotion/attitude to match the text, softens the text to "humanize" it somewhat and make it seem less harsh, less blunt, offered as friendly advice, etc., or to relay how news/information affects the writer.

:-( or :-( - Sad/frowning/disappointment

Correct!!

The D in DH (husband), DW (wife), DS (son), DD (daughter), etc. usually means Dear or Darling. Some like to think it is Disney and others will mean D$#% when they aren't exactly happy with that person. Whatever works for you!

Other ones...
MIL - Mother in Law Heh
FIL - Father in Law
DSis - Sister
DF - Fiance/Fiancee

If you can decipher this sentence, you're good:
DH and I love our DVC membership and love staying at the BWV in the Fall because we enjoy F&WF, MNSSHP, and being close to the IG of Epcot.

FWIW, DW & I love our DVC BWV-TS! BTW: EPCOT's IG (w/WS/MS/TT), MGM 's MG (w/ToT/RR/IJSS/ST), F&S, etc. are close by. IMHO, BWV is OOTB DVC-TS' at WDW - AFAIK, anway.

Yech.... No wonder I try to stay clear of the acronyms!!!

Of course, use it liberally!! I can't wait to meet you guys in Sept. Also, please feel free to ask me about any abbreviations, I've been hanging out on the WWW for an embarrassingly long time and know most of them!
