Bump Sticky Huh?

I'd like to know what bump means and what's a sticky for?

Bump: When a thread has been inactive for a long time, someone may bump it up...meaning to have it show in the active threads and have people start posting to it again.

Sticky: To sticky a thread, you make it always show at the top of the thread list for a certain forum. They tend to contain important info, or stuff that people are always looking for.

Anyone can bump a thread, only mods can make a sticky.

A note about bumping....It is better to bump a thread by posting a comment, rather then just using the

smilie.
