Hello to all fellow WDW lovers!
Just wanted to get started around here with a shout-out to all fellow lovers of WDW. Name's Brandon, I'm from North Carolina. I've been to WDW a total of 7 times (6 that I can actually remember) with my last visit in Sept 2006 and my next visit planned for Sept 2008. My wife and I will be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary in just a few weeks. On our honeymoon in 2003, we stayed at the Polynesian and absolutely loved. We loved it so much that we went back again in 2005, staying there again, and managing to be placed in the same room we honeymooned in, which was fantastic. My favorite of the four parks is the Magic Kingdom. We spend a lot of time just going over Space Mtn and Buzz Lightyear and the TTA until we get tired. On our last visit we tried Expedition Everest for the first of several rides and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. (Note to Disney......you're on the right track with putting in attractions like EE to get people to want to go to Animal Kingdom. Keep it up!) In addition to the Polynesian, I've stayed at Ft Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge, and in 2006 enjoyed a stay (with 6 other family members) in a 2-bedroom Boardwalk villa. The room and resort were great.....but not close enough to the Magic Kingdom for my liking. We enjoy vacationing there during the times of the "free dining plan" offers - it really comes in handy. I'm not so much all about the Disney characters and movies and so forth as I am crazy about the entire WDW resort itself. That's my thing. I love rides; have no time for shows. I do have some strong feelings towards which attractions I think should be trashed or are just a waste of time, but that's for another time. Looking forward to my stay around these parts!
