Hello from a WDW Cast Member

My name is Don and I drive the buses at WDW.

I've worked for WDW for about 2 years and I started out in Merchandise. I then transferred to Entertainment and then this past October I transferred to Transportation.

I love the one on one interaction with the guests I have on a day to day basis helping everyone have a Magical Experience.

I stumbled across the DWT website in search of new trivia to pass along to the guests and I’m glad I did. I purchased both books from Lou and I’m real impressed with all the knowledge stuffed into those books. A good portion of the information provided in the books I already knew, but there’s so much in there that I didn’t. I was also impressed with the accuracy of the information.

I look forward meeting new friends and chatting with you.

Welcome to the DWT family. I have a friend named Tom who drives WDW buses, mostly evenings last I talked to him, he seems to like his job too and I know he likes the FL weather better than the MA weather he left behind

How fun!!! One of my girls greatest memories of WDW was with a bus driver. He turned the trip into a trivia game and sing-a-long. They didn't want to get off the bus. That was 2 years ago. We are planning to go again in November 2007 and they are already hoping that we get that bus driver again.

Welcome to the neighborhood.
I don't think every cast member understands the impact that each one of you has on making or breaking the type of trip a guest has at WDW. Like other people have already mentioned, some of the best memories I've had have come from the interaction of the bus driver to guests. It's an important and dangerous job - (FL tourists come from many parts and may not be familiar with the roads on property). Thanks for every safe trip you've made, and for every moment that you helped to spread the magic.

I did have a CDL Class A license but it's not required, WDW will train you. For anyone on WDT, I will mail a referral card. Just send me a private email requesting one with your mailing address.

I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome to WDT and yes I'm one of those drivers who does sing-a-longs and trivia. That's why I joined WDT and got both books from Lou. I needed more trivia to add to my collection.
