Thanks Kyle, BTW don't forget to head over to the Magical Mountain forums and vote on Nanny McPhee vs Marry Poppins!

i spent 2 hours downloading the videos, then ran out of room, so spent another hour figuring out which CDs to keep and which to ditch, then another 3 1/2 hours finishing downloading the videos. so, after all that time, yes, it is a big deal to me. |

Another great Podcast. I really enjoyed the interview. And don't worry about running long, it's not like you guys were just babbling, and I enjoy as much information and thoughts as you want to include. I had thought the Odyssey was a Greek restaurant, but I never had never been inside back in the days when it was still open. Now I can give a correct answer when people ask me.
Oh, and Nathan, stop singing. (Just kidding. Sort of. )Keep up the great shows! I look forward to each new episode! |

Thanks! I will let my granddaughter know. She had a great party Saturday. She loved her princess bounce house that we got for her. She wouldn't even come out of it to have her own birthday cake
![]() BTW if anyone in South Florida needs a Princess bounce house for a party I recommend http://www.pogosamusements.com. They are authorized by Disney and are really professional!

WDW: A History In Postcards
|
I transcribed this to answer a question in TheHorizonsTribute yahoo group, and figured it should go here too:
This transcript is a portion of Mousetunes episode 12 released January 22, 2006. about 48 minutes into the show: Lou: Marty writes in and says "Hi guys, I'm puzzled and was hoping you could answer me this Between Test Track and the Mexico pavilion there is a building called Odyssey, can you explain to me what it is, or what it was? I notice that it's not even on the Epcot maps. Thank you for your time and consideration." Ah yes Marty, the old odyessy building, well at one time it was a counter service restaurant, one which I enjoyed very much, and it served the traditional burgers and fries, things like that. It was open from 1982 to 1986 when it closed its doors, apparently permanently, but in 1995 it started serving lunch daily, as opposed to lunch and dinner, umm and it is ...I'm not sure if you're familiar, it's where the baby care center is located at Epcot, kind of around the corner on the Mexico side but uhh.. Nathan: actually, the uh first aid's located there too. Lou: right, right, ummm, and in September of 1997 they started doing reser..reder, ( building, and people thought it was going to open up but it was actually just for the food and wine festival that year, so now what they do is they do have special events in there, such as things for food and wine festival, as well as a lot of corporate events, cast member training, things like that take place there, but, unfortunately there is no plan to reopen the restaurant any time soon, though I think the restaurant has potential, it could really kind of act as a gateway to World Showcase, maybe they could have samplings of different kinds of international foods, or from some of the countries that or there or maybe some countries that aren't represented there some other type of unique dining experience other than the just the plain old burgers and fries ...but, I think it is a little bit out of the way,it's kind of off the main path, um, from Future World to World Showcase So, it's gotta be something special I think to draw folks over to the old odyessey building.
