have to give my 2 cents on PotC (from the last show)
i think it's a bunch of horse dunk that they are including the movie characters in the ride. i was a little ticked when they made the ride PC, having the woman chase the pirates instead of the woman being chased down for a good pilaging, as i had grown up knowing......
but now this bunk? put the ride in the movie, not the movie in the ride, the ride has been around long before the movies were done. keep it original, keep it old school! and, if you use this on the next show, check is in the mail, make sure to mention that i love Lou!!! not happy about this, had to vent. |

I am completely with you on this one!!!! I felt the same way about the prior changes to make everything politically correct. They are pirates for God's sake!!!!!! I absolutely hate the fact that they are making these additions and changes to the ride. Leave it as it is!!!!!!!!!!!

Were they really getting complaints that it wasn't PC if the first place? I mean, I would rather be chased than doing the chasing, anyway!

Yeah, that is just making her look desperate. I think we need to start a petition....
As for the movie additions...interesting that they would do this now? I love the idea of a Johnny Depp AA, but like Lori, can I just have it at my house? Why mess with a good classic ride. Hey, I know!  Add him to the COP to make that interesting. Then maybe people will stay awake.... |

Uncle Walt must be turning in his grave. What a shame Disney is more interested in making even more money. Oh well, not much I can do about it considering all the lost rides and attractions since 1955.

I really love the ride (obviously) & am glad I'm getting to see it one last time before it changes forever... gosh, now that I type that, it does seem sort of weird, doesn't it???
I guess I don't have much of a problem with it... as long as they don't take anything away or make the story different (which I think they are doing!  )
