Book Format

I am about to buy both books but was wondering if the entire book is in Question and Answer form, or if it can be read like an actual book. I'm sure this has already been addressed somewhere but I couldn't find it.

They are broken down into chapters of multiple choice questions, with the questions first and the answers in a separate section. The answers are detailed, usually a paragraph or more per question.
