I never get to choose the destination, I'm always forced to go to Endor when in fact, I want to visit sunny Tatooine instead or chill out at Hoth.

I think no matter how the new version turns out, it'll be great. I really think they should try to keep both the old and new versions, but I doubt they would go through the trouble of updating and not do it for all of the simulators.

Wow, this is exciting stuff for me, Star Tours is my daughter's absolute favorite at DHS.

I just hope they don't modify the ride's exterior too much. It's kinda cool to round a bend in DHS and be looking at an AT-AT, you know? LOL.

i cant wait to see this. star tours was the first ride i ever went on all those years ago at disneyland, and as much as i love it just the way it is with mr herman, er i mean rex at the wheel, i would love to see what disney would allow lucas to do, and by that statement i hope that disney looks over his shoulder so we dont have another "prequel" senario....

Oh the poor Star Tours, it needs a desperate update. I was on just last week and everytime the simulator would move, the whole thing would creak. It needed some oil. My sister and I just giggled the whole time because it sounded like a huge wooden door creaking. It really took away from the experience for a someone who might be on it for the first time because it's distracting from the ride vocals.
